Tasks

The Role: DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure Automation

📍 Location: Bremen, Germany

Work mode: On-site, 5 days per week initially

🗣️ Languages: English (C1-C2); German (C1-C2)

We are supporting a client in Germany that is strengthening its DevOps and automation capabilities. For this initiative, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Linux environments and infrastructure automation.

This role is focused on supporting customer architects in building and operating a modern development toolchain, with particular emphasis on automating virtual machine provisioning.

This role will involve

• Working closely with customer architects and technical teams


• Designing and implementing infrastructure automation workflows


• Automating VM provisioning and configuration


• Contributing to and maintaining CI/CD pipelines


• Applying Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices


• Supporting a stable, scalable, and maintainable platform


• Documenting solutions and participating in technical discussions

What we are looking for

You are a senior-level professional with solid hands-on experience and the confidence to work autonomously in complex environments.

Requirements

Must-have experience:

• Strong Linux systems administration


• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning


• Ansible for automation and configuration management


• GitLab (repositories and CI/CD)


• General experience with DevOps tools and methodologies


• At least 5 years of relevant technical experience

Nice to have:

• Docker


• Kubernetes


• Packer


• Experience in industrial or enterprise environments
