What will you do?
- Administer, maintain and evolve Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.x clusters across development, staging, production and disaster recovery environments.
- Manage the full cluster lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, patch management and security hardening.
- Configure and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift networking, including OVN-Kubernetes, NetworkPolicies, Ingress Controllers, TLS certificates and Service Mesh.
- Manage storage solutions, including SAN/NAS integration, OpenShift Data Foundation (Ceph), CSI Drivers, Persistent Volumes and backup strategies.
- Implement and manage identity, access and security, including LDAP/Active Directory integration, OAuth, RBAC, Security Context Constraints (SCCs) and security policies.
- Govern multi-tenant environments by managing namespaces, resource quotas, limit ranges and onboarding new application teams.
- Administer Operators, monitoring, logging and observability tools, including Prometheus, Alertmanager, Loki/EFK, Grafana and Datadog.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies, including etcd backup and restore, cluster failover and replication.
- Automate platform operations using Ansible and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD/OpenShift GitOps.
- Provide technical guidance and support to application teams, contribute to technical documentation, runbooks and participate in the platform on-call rotation.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience administering Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.x in production environments.
- Hands-on experience installing and upgrading OpenShift clusters (UPI/IPI) on bare-metal or VMware infrastructure.
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL), including networking, system administration and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and OpenShift, including Routes, SCCs, BuildConfigs, ImageStreams and Operators.
- Experience managing OpenShift networking, storage, RBAC and security in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with the oc CLI, kubectl and YAML configuration at an administrator level.
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Alertmanager, Loki or EFK.
- Knowledge of automation using Ansible and GitOps practices with ArgoCD/OpenShift GitOps.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
