What you'll be doing:
Manage, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure services and applications running on top of corporate operating systems.
Handle daily Linux administration tasks across enterprise distributions including RHEL, Oracle Linux, and Rocky Linux.
Perform deep operating system-level troubleshooting, including comprehensive incident analysis, root cause identification, and the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
Drive operational efficiency by writing scripts and utilizing automation tools to eliminate repetitive tasks and streamline infrastructure management.
Manage infrastructure configurations and code using version control systems, adhering to established collaboration and repository management best practices.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and other technical stakeholders, to align infrastructure with business needs.
Proactively identify areas for continuous improvement, optimizing storage, virtualization, cloud environments, and network performance.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability, leveraging automation to minimize active incidents and after-hours workloads.
What you bring to the table:
4+ years of professional experience in system administration with a strong proactive mindset focused on automation and efficiency.
Deep hands-on expertise in enterprise Linux distributions such as RHEL, Oracle Linux, or Rocky Linux, with solid knowledge of OS fundamentals (command line, process management, file systems, permissions).
Practical experience with scripting and infrastructure automation tools such as Bash/Shell, Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
Strong understanding of core networking and infrastructure domains, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, Active Directory, storage, and virtualization.
Working knowledge of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider like GCP, Azure, or AWS.
Proven experience using version control systems like Git (GitHub or GitLab) within a team environment.
Complementary technical knowledge in administering Windows Server environments.
