JOIN OUR TEAM AS LINUX SYSTEMADMINISTRATOR (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Administration as well as permanent further development of a dedicated cloud environment (mainly based on Linux and Kubernetes)
• Analysis, evaluation and implementation of requirements in close cooperation with our product owners and software developers
• Automation and continuous optimization of new and existing systems, infrastructures and processes
• Definition and error/problem analysis of system configurations including the creation and maintenance of the required documentation
• Central coordination of issues between our customers and our Computing Centers
• Continuous development of our IT security guidelines

Preferred Experience

• B.S. Degree (preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or similar)
• Very good knowledge of Linux and the most common Linux server distributions
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the implementation & administration of IT systems
• Experience in the creation of operational concepts
• Very good knowledge in IT security, especially in configuration and operation of networks, firewalls and VPNs
• The following experience is a plus:
• Kubernetes
• Ansible/Puppet/Chef
• OpenStack
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
• A high degree of self-initiative as well as a quick grasp of things
