About The Role

The role focuses on the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of large-scale infrastructure and platform services. This position is responsible for designing and implementing automated frameworks that ensure continuous availability for systems handling millions of daily requests.

The engineer will partner closely with product development teams to bridge the gap between software delivery and system operations. By focusing on automation, observability, and self-healing infrastructure, the role drives operational excellence and minimizes MTTR across multi-region deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, efficient resource utilization, and secure multi-tenant execution
  • Implement robust observability, monitoring, and alerting pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Build and maintain resilient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions to automate code deployment and integration testing
  • Participate in a shared blameless on-call rotation, leading incident response, root-cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortem execution to prevent recurrence of production issues
  • Optimize cloud spend and system performance through autoscaling configurations, load balancing, and architectural refactoring

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering roles maintaining production-grade cloud infrastructure
  • Strong proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, preferably Python, Go, or Bash
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
  • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Bonus: Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd), managing distributed databases, or holding AWS professional-level certifications
