As a Lead Technical Program Manager in AI/ML and Data Platforms, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
- Identifies and mitigates risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
- Utilizes advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Utilizes technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
- Champions the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years in technical program/project management leading complex infrastructure and platform initiatives in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Proven ability to drive end-to-end delivery (scope, plan, RAID, dependencies, milestones, change control) with clear accountability and minimal supervision.
- Cloud technology experience required.
- Demonstrated technical fluency to partner effectively with engineers/architects, challenge assumptions, and ensure deliverables meet engineering and operational standards (without requiring you to be the primary implementer).
- Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross-functional teams, including technology, security/risk, and business partners.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills: break ambiguous business/technical objectives into executable workstreams, measurable outcomes, and clear decision points.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, tailoring depth and content to audience; able to synthesize complex technical topics into crisp updates and actionable executive-level insights while staying detail-oriented.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with AWS products and services.
- Experience applying AI-based tooling to program/project management (e.g., AI-assisted planning, requirements synthesis, RAID detection, status reporting automation, decision-log generation).
- Infrastructure domain knowledge (compute, storage, networking, identity/IAM, observability, reliability, capacity/performance) and experience running programs across these areas.
- Prior exposure to large-scale data platforms (data lakes/warehouses, streaming, distributed compute) or AI/ML technologies.
