We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Linux & Infrastructure to strengthen our IT and infrastructure team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in Linux administration, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring the stable, secure, and scalable operation of our platform and IT services.


# Your Tasks


  • Ensure the smooth and reliable operation of the Drooms platform and supporting infrastructure
  • Manage and optimize Linux-based systems across on-premise and cloud environments
  • Operate and further develop infrastructure automation systems (e.g., Puppet, Ansible)
  • Support infrastructure as code initiatives using configuration management and automation tools
  • Monitor and maintain system reliability, performance, and security
  • Manage networking components and ensure connectivity and availability
  • Support DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitLab or similar)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure and support product development
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date system documentation, SOPs, and architectural diagrams


# Your Profile


  • 7+ years of experience in Linux systems administration
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
  • Familiarity with networking administration and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of data systems and tools is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence
  • Excellent German and English language skills are required for this position
