About the Role
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for designing, building, automating, and operating enterprise-grade OpenShift platforms. In this role, you will work on cloud-native technologies, platform automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes/OpenShift environments while ensuring high availability, security, and reliability of critical business systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and contribute to delivering scalable, secure, and efficient platform services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and optimize OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.
- Take end-to-end ownership of OpenShift environments and platform operations.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
- Manage incidents, problem resolution, service requests, and operational activities.
- Develop automation and self-healing solutions to improve platform reliability.
- Support platform lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure system performance, scalability, and security.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Support ITSM processes and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Work within Agile, DevOps, and SRE teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of DevOps experience (8+ years for senior-level professionals).
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes platforms.
- Experience with Helm Charts or Kustomize (mandatory).
- Knowledge of ArgoCD, FluxCD, or GitOps methodologies.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or GoLang.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Actions, and GitHub.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Security-first mindset and understanding of platform reliability best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in an international team environment.
- OpenShift/Kubernetes certifications will be a strong advantage.
