Mō te Tūranga | About the role:
Join ASB’s Host platform, where we deliver fast, reliable, and innovative tech solutions. As part of the Mainframe and batch scheduling team, you will provide guidance and support the lead solution design and strategic work for our Host and Control-M scheduling teams — driving transformation with a focus on simplicity, security, and speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support and development – to provide full maintenance and support for our Control-M application
- OS Administration certification – windows and/or Linux
- Experience with SSL certificate configuration and management, including Java keytool.
- Experience with Control-M/Agent installations.
- Experience writing Unisys Workflow Language (WFL).
- Excellent understanding of DevSecOps principles.
- Day-to-day administration skills
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of Unisys mainframe experience
- Proven Control-M application maintenance and support
- Experience with Control-M/Agent installations.
- Experience building a Control-M instance from scratch on either Windows or Linux
- An OS administration certificate for Windows (or Linux), or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Hands-on DevOps experience (preferably with Azure DevOps)
- Strong analytical skills for technical analysis and requirements gathering
- Clear and strong technical writing for documentation and design specifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Experience in banking, payments, lending, or Open Banking systems
- COBOL programming development/maintenance skills and experience
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
