Lead Infrastructure Reliability Engineer – Service Reliability & Automation

Locations: Chandler, AZ (Preferred), Dallas, TX, Charlotte (Brevard), NC, Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 24 Months Contract (possible conversion)


Key Responsibilities

  • Improve enterprise infrastructure reliability through automation, observability, and operational analytics.
  • Lead resolution of complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Support and optimize Linux, Windows, and enterprise virtualization environments.
  • Enhance monitoring, event management, and service reliability.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, application, and security teams.
  • Drive operational efficiency by reducing manual effort and improving processes.


Required Skills

  • 10+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure in large-scale production environments.
  • Strong experience with Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms.
  • Expertise in PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or equivalent automation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, and event management.
  • Experience leading production incident resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.


Preferred Skills

  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible).
  • Experience with Splunk, BigPanda, Grafana, Prometheus, and ServiceNow/ITIL.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments (10,000+ servers).
  • ITIL, SRE, or Automation certifications.
