Software engineer (angular)

The angular developer role offers great opportunities to be part of a small team of colleagues in the team developing and managing new user interface for bank internal users (Payment platform).
Your direct manager will be Karin Mogenstrup.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Develop new features in Payment platform to support the payment processing in the banks
- Be part of daily maintenance, including incidents and refactoring of running applications
- You will be working together with the rest of the PEX1 team, including business analyst, Team architect and co-developers (mix of mainframe / java /angular), as well as you will be part of the continuous dialogue with end-users.
- You must expect to visit the team in DK 2 times a year
- Take part in continuous improvement and modernization of our Angular applications
- Upgrade our Angular platform to newer versions and ensure smooth adoption of modern framework features (e.g. Signals, improved forms, OnPush change detection)
- Refactor and evolve existing code to improve quality, maintainability, and alignment with modern Angular patterns
- Solid experience with Angular and modern frontend development
- Understanding of frontend architecture and common design patterns
- A mindset focused on clean code, quality, and best practices
- Familiarity with developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Outspoken, open to knowledge sharing
- Experience with test automation processes Experience with test automation and E2E testing (e.g. Playwright or similar)
