Opportunity
UJET is searching for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Seoul! The ideal candidate is a software engineer who has experience shipping products and is meticulous with code style and quality, with the ability to own end-to-end architecture.
Responsibilities
- Be a collaborative team player who can deliver backend services along with some frontend work with high availability, low latency, and auto scalability
- Facilitate collaboration between engineers, product managers, and designers
- Possess a deep understanding of the product and business goals which translate into technical design documents
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate services that serve start-ups to enterprise clients
- Help maintain and improve current Angular & React.js/Javascript integration services. Build new Angular & React.js microservices if the project requires it.
- Help create, maintain, and improve parts of the frontend code that pertains to the CRM team.
- Must be a South Korean citizen or currently reside in South Korea with a valid work visa
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- 4+ years' experience in software development, preferably someone that has both backend and frontend knowledge. However, we’re okay with someone who has mainly backend experience but is willing to learn and work with frontend code.
- Hands-on experience in developing or leveraging Agentic AI workflows
- Preferably someone with in-depth knowledge and experience with Node.js and JavaScript. However, for the right candidate we’re okay with someone that doesn’t know JavaScript or doesn’t have a lot of experience in it but is willing to learn.
- Some knowledge of Ruby, Java, Go, or Python is a plus. Though no previous experience is necessary, candidates should be comfortable working in Ruby on Rails code when needed.
- Hands-on experience with third-party API integrations. Knowledge of CRM integration such as Salesforce and Zendesk is a plus.
- Working experience with MySQL or similar database technologies.
- Working experience with Redis or similar caching architecture.
- Efficiency in software best practice and tools like Git, Docker, CI, 12factor, etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, in a fast-paced start-up environment
