Fullstack Developer

We are hiring an experienced Fullstack Developer for our client in the fintech industry.

Key Requirements:

Frontend

• Angular (web application)
• Ionic (mobile wrapper, monorepo shared with existing bank apps)
• Mature design system with page templates and reusable components
• Creative/experimental UI direction — intentionally breaking standard spacing and colour conventions (think social media aesthetics, not traditional banking)

Backend

• Microservice/middleware architecture (~1,200 services)
• Primary stack: Java / Kotlin, mostly Spring Boot
• Strong platform engineering teams managing build tooling and pipelines

AI / Conversational

• Existing chatbot with single-turn LLM calls (multi-turn in development)
• Agentic framework: pilot project for Codex integration
• Applied AI / agentic layer being built on top of an internal AI platform
• Conversational squad will both consume and contribute to the AI platform

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Multi-cloud strategy, with AWS as the preferred provider
• Cloud layer abstracted from developers via platform engineering

Other Capabilities in Scope

• PFM (Personal Finance Management) — budgeting, expense tracking; vendor selection underway for expanded capabilities
• Shared Finance — shared wallet, joint account management, expense splitting, budgeting for shared accounts
