About The Team & Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Frontend Developer to join our MitID development team. You will become part of a professional environment where all team members share a strong commitment delivering secure, reliable, and high‑quality digital identity solutions.
We work in a collaborative Scrum setup with architects, developers, business analysts, testers, a Product Owner, and other key stakeholders. Together, we maintain, design and deliver enhancements and updates to the MitID platform.
Main Responsabilities
- Maintaining and developing new functionality in the MitID web app.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code that is easy to read and modify by other team members.
- Follow security best practices to ensure that the user's data is protected from malicious attacks.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that the code meets the team's coding standards and is consistent with the project's goals.
- Designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use.
- Participation in Scrum team meetings including daily stand up, sprint kick-off and retrospective
- 2+ years of experience developing complex Angular applications with Typescript.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or any other related field, or any equivalent training, or work experience.
- Proficiency in Angular (version 15+), NodeJS, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Strong understanding of frontend development concepts and best practices.
- Aware of SOLID principles, with a focus on simplicity and code readability.
- Familiarity with monorepo and best practice frontend architecture patterns.
- Good understanding of REST API principles and usage with NGXS and OpenAPI.
- Experience with WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Strong unit test design awareness and experience writing unit tests.
- Team player with good communication, reasoning and compromising skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of frontend security features such as authentication mechanisms, secure communication protocols, and data encryption.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Playwright as frontend UI testing framework.
