NutraQ is a leading international health and beauty company with a digital, subscription-based business model. We serve more than 450,000 active subscribers across 15 markets and operate over 30 webshops. Our ambition is to build a scalable, reliable and commercially strong web platform that supports long-term growth across brands and markets.

We are now looking for a Tech Lead, Web who will take technical ownership of our web platforms and ensure high-quality, future-proof technical solutions in close collaboration with Product and UX.

The role

As Tech Lead, Web you own how we build our web platforms from a technical perspective. You are responsible for architecture, code quality, security and performance, while working hands-on with development.

You work closely with the Product Owner, who has people and team responsibility, and play a key role in translating product and business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions. The role combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic and commercially aware mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Technical ownership of NutraQ’s web platforms
• Architecture and technical design for new development, including Azure (with IT Ops)
• Ensure security, reliability, performance and code quality
• Drive continuous technical improvements and test coverage
• Hands-on development and code reviews
• Translate product and UX requirements into fit-for-purpose solutions
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner and UX to optimise user experience and conversion
• Act as the main technical point of contact for in-house and hired developers

We are looking for someone who

• Is a senior developer or Tech Lead with strong end-to-end understanding of web platforms
• Enjoys hands-on work combined with architectural responsibility
• Is comfortable taking technical decisions and accountability
• Understands the commercial impact of performance, UX and conversion
• Communicates clearly and works well in cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in web development, including senior or technical lead roles
• Experience from e-commerce, preferably subscription-based business models
• Degree in software engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Strong full-stack expertise and experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Solid understanding of backend systems and APIs
• Experience with Optimizely CMS and CRO is a plus
• Fluent in English (business language)
