About the Role:
This role requires a genuine, end-to-end Full Stack Engineer - not a front-end developer with some back-end exposure, nor a back-end engineer who occasionally works on the UI. The ideal candidate must demonstrate equally strong technical depth across the presentation layer, application/services layer, and data layer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and Node.js
- Build and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices using Node.js
- Create clean, maintainable, and performant front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Implement serverless architectures using Azure / AWS Lambda and container-based solutions with ECS
- Design and maintain both SQL and NoSQL database schemas and queries
- Work with graph databases for complex data relationships
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Debug and optimize applications for maximum performance
- Work within an agile development environment
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge
- Participate in technical design discussions and architecture planning
MUST HAVE Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in full stack web development
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Node.js and Express.js
- Experience with Azure / AWS services, particularly Lambda and ECS
- Understanding of RESTful API and GraphQL design principles
- Strong experience with SQL databases and NoSQL databases (particularly Couchbase)
- Experience with graph databases and graph data modeling
Desired Skills:
- Experience with AI/Copilot, prompt development
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less)
- Knowledge of container orchestration and Docker
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of web security best practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Track record of delivering high-quality web applications
