Senior Full Stack Developer

We're working with a leading German media and software company that provides professional information, software solutions, and services. They are building an innovative digital banking platform that seamlessly integrates with business software, offering features like smart split for sub-accounts, lending, automated payment reconciliation, and intelligent financial analyses, creating a comprehensive ecosystem beyond a standard bank account.

The Role

• Drive the development of a cloud-based web application within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on customer benefits through iterative steps.
• Work in a modern microservice architecture, ensuring smooth communication between services and contributing to tool and approach decisions.
• Actively shape the integration of AI agents and automated workflows into work processes and product structures.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for features, from initial idea to production in the cloud, with a focus on scalability and stability.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and open experimentation with new forms of collaboration.

What You'll Need

• Several years of experience building modern web applications with expertise in React, TypeScript, and Material UI for frontend, and Spring Boot (Java) for backend.
• Proven knowledge of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Strong commitment to software engineering excellence, including Clean Code, Test Driven Development (TDD), and agile methodologies.
• Experience with microservices architecture and solving related technical challenges.
• Excellent German language skills (at least C2 level) for team communication.
