Position Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code that aligns with the Group’s architecture guidelines and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks.
- Technical Analysis: Translate functional requirements and business needs into detailed technical specifications and architecture designs.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high standards of quality.
- Maintenance & Support: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in production and non-production environments.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners.
- CI/CD Integration: Execute continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure a smooth delivery calendar.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technology trends and propose improvements to existing systems to enhance scalability and robustness.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Version 11 or higher) with a deep understanding of Core Java concepts (Collections, Multithreading, Streams API).
- Extensive experience with the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) and Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js) along with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Extensive experience with Jenkins, Ansible, or other CI/CD automation tools.
- Proficiency with Git, Maven, or Gradle.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging tools such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Prior experience working within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with global stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
