Software Engineer

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join a growing manufacturing organization in the Milwaukee area. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting custom business applications that drive operational efficiency across production, supply chain, quality, engineering, and distribution functions. This is a hands-on development role where you'll work across front-end, back-end, database, integration, and automation initiatives while helping modernize systems and processes throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver practical software solutions.
• Build responsive user interfaces that improve visibility into production activities, inventory management, reporting, and business workflows.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and data exchange processes between internal applications and third-party platforms.
• Design and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures to support high-performance business applications.
• Create automation tools that reduce manual processes and improve efficiency across manufacturing operations.
• Participate in application architecture, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
• Support data migration, reporting, and analytics initiatives by developing reliable data pipelines and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously enhance application performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for technology-driven process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing full-stack applications in a business or manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on development experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database development.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting applications and supporting production environments.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, source control, and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting software solutions within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure.
• Experience with reporting, data warehousing, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Understanding of inventory, production, supply chain, or quality management processes.
• Experience building workflow automation and custom operational applications.
