The role

Our Information Technology team is known for its collaborative and supportive culture and is a trusted and valued team within Norton Rose Fulbright. As a Senior IT Developer, you will provide high quality and proactive Applications Support to partners, lawyers and business services staff to enable Norton Rose Fulbright to deliver seamless client service and ensure the smooth operation of our legal practice teams.

Reporting to the Application Support manager, the key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain the existing library of software applications and Microsoft Office addins coded in C#
• Perform other development tasks as required, particularly using C#, to integrate various enterprise applications
• Develop, maintain and enhance cross-system and cross-platform integrations between on-premises and SaaS application platforms
• Provide second-level support to the service desk to support users
• Liaise closely with the infrastructure and end user computing teams to provide direction on changes and fixes to the Standard Operating Environment
• Involvement in firm-wide projects and rollouts; supporting of upgrades to the software environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to build a strong rapport with our key stakeholders. You will have excellent communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products. You will also have;

• Previous experience as a Developer ideally gained within a professional services firm
• Strong Front-End skills - HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery (or equivalent JavaScript framework)
• Strong back-end development experience – web services and full site development using C# and Razor
• Power platform development
• Azure platform administration
• Service orientated architectures
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server relational systems and TSQL
• Relevant IT qualifications, or equivalent experience
• Flexible and adaptable with good time management
