How You’ll Make Impact
- Design and develop Mendix applications independently, taking full ownership of modules and solutions from requirements through deployment.
- Work directly with clients to understand their domain and translate complex business needs into robust, maintainable low-code applications.
- Make confident technical decisions around data modelling, integration patterns, security, and performance and take responsibility for their quality.
- Collaborate closely with Senior and Lead engineers on larger solution designs, contributing your own technical perspective.
- Review and give constructive feedback on the work of junior colleagues and actively share knowledge within the team.
- Stay up to date with the Mendix ecosystem and bring new insights back into the community through knowledge-sharing and internal initiatives.
- 2 - 4 years of hands-on software development experience, with a significant portion spent building and delivering Mendix applications.
- Proven ability to work independently across the full development lifecycle. You don't need step-by-step guidance to get things done.
- Solid knowledge of Mendix platform fundamentals: data modelling, Microflows, Nanoflows, integrations (REST/OData/SOAP), security, and deployment.
- Good working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. Java or React experience to build custom java actions and pluggable widgets is a plus.
- Mendix Intermediate or Advanced Developer certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills: You can break down complex problems, identify trade-offs, and make pragmatic decisions.
- Good communication skills in German and English, comfortable engaging with clients and presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- You take ownership naturally, give and receive feedback well, and contribute positively to team culture.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
