Fullstack Engineer - Lovable Apps Platform Team
Indexed description
The Lovable Apps Platform is what makes those generated apps actually run in production. The moment a user hits deploy, the Apps Platform takes over — provisioning the database, handling user auth, storing files, serving the app over a custom domain, capturing logs, and metering usage. It's the full backend and hosting layer for every app built on Lovable, designed so creators never have to think about infrastructure to ship something real.

It's the full backend and hosting layer for every app built on Lovable, designed so creators never have to think about infrastructure to ship something real.
The Apps Platform is growing fast, and we're investing heavily in each layer of the stack — building deeper ownership over the services that power our users' apps so we can move faster, scale better, and shape the product experience us and our users actually want.
The Role
We're looking for product-minded fullstack engineers who can own end-to-end slices of our Lovable Apps Platform. You'll build the interfaces, APIs, and integrations that let Lovable users manage their cloud resources — from admin panels and analytics dashboards to vendor abstraction layers and the AI gateway. This is the highest-surface-area layer of the stack: identity, logging, metering, workflow engine, buckets, database connection strings, secrets, custom domains, and connectors.
What You'll Do
- Create UX for our users to build with Apps Platform features
- Build and own platform services like identity, logging, metering, workflow engine, object storage, secrets
- Create abstraction layers for deep integrations with key partners and vendors
- Strong fullstack background: deep comfort with TypeScript/React on the frontend and Node.js or similar on the backend
- Experience building and operating SaaS platform features — auth flows, metering/billing pipelines, API gateways, or developer tooling
- Product instinct: you think in user outcomes, not just API endpoints
- Comfort working with third-party services and building clean abstractions over vendor APIs Familiarity with managed cloud services (AWS, GCP) and the tradeoffs of buy-vs-build
- Experience with observability, logging, or metering systems is a strong plus
- You've shipped features in fast-moving, high-ownership environments where you wore multiple hats
- Experience with DNS, TLS/SSL automation, and custom domain provisioning at scale
- Experience with BaaS or PaaS platforms (Supabase, Firebase, Vercel, Render, etc.)
- Familiarity with TanStack Router/Query or similar modern frontend stacks
- Background in developer experience or developer tools
- Interest in AI-assisted development and how cloud infrastructure enables it
- Frontend: React and Typescript.
- Backend: Golang and Rust.
- Cloud: Cloudflare, GCP, AWS, Modal.
- Data: Clickhouse, Firestore, Spanner, BigQuery.
- DevOps & Tooling: CI/CD pipelines, OTEL, Kubernetes, Terraform.
