Senior Frontend Engineer

Join Zalo Platform to build and scale web-based products serving tens of millions of daily users, with a primary focus on Zalo PC and products built on the Zalo Mini App platform. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance frontend applications, solving large-scale engineering challenges, and delivering seamless user experiences across the Zalo ecosystem.

🤖 What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance frontend applications for Zalo PC and products within the Zalo Platform ecosystem.

• Build scalable, maintainable, and reusable frontend architectures serving tens of millions of daily users.

• Develop user interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web technologies.

• Drive technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

• Optimize application performance, including rendering, bundle size, load time, and responsiveness.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, QA, and Design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.

• Mentor team members and contribute to the team's technical growth.

• Research and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices to improve product quality and engineering efficiency.

👾 What you will need

• 4+ years of experience in Frontend Development, with experience building large-scale web applications.

• Strong expertise in ReactJS ecosystem, including Redux, State Management, Functional Programming, and Immutability.

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Sass/SCSS, and modern frontend development practices.

• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, software design principles, design patterns, and code maintainability.

• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.

• Familiarity with frontend tooling and workflows such as Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn, and CI/CD.

• Good understanding of APIs, networking fundamentals, browser internals, and high-traffic systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and passion for continuous learning.

• Ability to mentor engineers, collaborate effectively across teams, and drive technical excellence.
