Roles and Responsibilities

  • Website Development: Design, code, and implement responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and clients to translate requirements into functional web applications.
  • Optimization: Ensure websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and SEO, adhering to best practices for performance and accessibility.
  • Maintenance: Regularly update and troubleshoot websites to ensure functionality, security, and compatibility with the latest browsers and devices.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and cross-browser testing, to deliver bug-free applications.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards and share knowledge with the team.
  • API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality, such as payment gateways or social media platforms.
  • Staying Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and trends in web development to implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Backend Knowledge: Familiarity with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP.
  • Database Skills: Experience with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
  • Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
