What the position offers you:
To support our growth, we are looking for a ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant, who can straddle both business requirements and technology implementations to deliver IT Service Management solutions for Switzerland.
The Senior Technical Consultant role is one of the core components in all our implementations. This role is responsible for supporting customers in the successful implementation and use of ServiceNow, including configuration, tailoring, and coaching to meet their unique business requirements.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking for an opportunity to join an established but still fast-growing organization.
Job Specifics & Responsibilities
- Design and shape the technical architecture of the ServiceNow platform and support complex development approaches in collaboration with business analysts and functional consultants.
- Act as a trusted Technical Advisor/Expert.
- Implement complex functionalities to meet customer requirements using the front-end and back-end capabilities of ServiceNow platform.
- Implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, whether on cloud or on-premise (ex: SSO, SAP, other ITSM applications, etc.), using technologies like SOAP and REST Webservices, JDBC, LDAP, etc.
- Produce technical documentation.
- Be a coach/ mentor to ServiceNow Technical consultants.
- ServiceNow Solution Consultants.
- ServiceNow Project Managers.
- ServiceNow Architects
- Junior and confirmed ServiceNow Technical Consultants.
- Main stakeholders such as CTOs, customer architects
- Customer developers and IT technical staff.
- ServiceNow support team and Technical Experts.
- University degree in IT engineering.
- minimum 3 years’ experience on ServiceNow.
- 3 years’ experience in consulting external customers.
- Mastering of relational DB model and related technologies.
- Mastering Event-driven and Object-Oriented programming.
- Mastering web technologies like JavaScript, XML, AngularJS, Jelly
- AJAX experience.
- Scripting proficiency in PowerShell and Unix shell.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and SSO technologies
- Experience with legacy systems, batch files, web services (SOAP and REST).
- Working knowledge of networks, the Internet, modern protocols and email, SMTP, POP3.
- ITIL knowledge is a plus.
- Strong personal commitment to quality service.
- Must have experience dealing with technical end-users in a service-oriented role.
- Highly focused on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to switch between multiple tasks/projects/contexts.
- Curious and self-learner.
- Ability to assume leadership and work without direct supervision.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and like working with customers in problem-solving mode.
- Capacity to travel which will be necessary but is not integral to this position.
- Fluent in French and English, another European language would be an asset.
