We're adding 1–2 Senior / Staff Backend Engineers to the core team. You'll own critical platform functionality end-to-end and help shape features the industry hasn't seen yet.
What You'll Do
Own core backend platform features end-to-end — from concept and architecture through deployment and iteration
Build and maintain low-latency, highly available backend services that power real-time threat detection
Collaborate cross-functionally in a fully remote, distributed team environment
Integrate external data sources and OSINT-style data feeds into the platform pipeline
Contribute to AI pipeline architecture and agentic workflow systems
Drive 0→1 feature development with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
What We're Looking For
Required:
Senior or Staff-level backend engineering experience
Demonstrated 0→1 ownership — founding a product, or owning a large feature/product end-to-end from concept through production
Experience building low-latency, highly available distributed backend systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating asynchronously across a remote team
Proven ability to work with flexibility across different engineering specialties in a lean team
Nice to Have:
Experience building user-configured workflow or automation systems
Experience designing or maintaining AI / ML pipelines
Experience integrating external data sources or OSINT-style feeds (threat intelligence, social data, radio/dispatch data, etc.)
Early-stage startup experience (sub-10-person engineering team)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $180,000 – $205,000 per year
