Developer (Frontend)

Responsible for developing new user-facing features, determining the structure and design of web pages, building reusable codes, optimizing page loading times, and using a variety of markup languages to create the web pages.

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git and SVN).
• JavaScript. Proficient in comprehending and interpreting JavaScript code. Familiarity with the foundational principles of any of the following UI frameworks: (1) Vue.js, (2) React.js, (3) Angular.js, (4) jQuery. Knowledge of any other frontend framework will be considered.
• Typescript. Competent in understanding JavaScript code.
• Interpersonal Skills. Effective communication, adept at understanding and creating technical documentation. Team-oriented with a friendly approach, capable of meeting project deadlines.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Assist team members in identifying and troubleshooting software defects.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
