Our Data Platforms and Insights team is responsible for turning billions of rows of tracking data into actionable intelligence. We build the high-performance, data-dense web platforms, dashboards, and analytical interfaces that leagues, clubs, and internal teams rely on to extract insights. We’re looking for a Level 2 Frontend Developer who is keen to learn, loves data visualization, and wants to build solid engineering fundamentals in a fast-paced environment.
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Level 2 Frontend Developer, you'll work closely with senior engineers, data engineers, and UI/UX designers to develop your skills and ship clean code. Here’s what a typical week might involve:
- Producing clean, functional code that follows established team patterns and is easy for others to read and maintain.
- Building and refining UI components for dashboards, charts, and data tables to create smooth visual experiences for our users.
- Learning to integrate frontend applications with our data infrastructure, handling JSON data structures from our APIs.
- Assisting with code releases across our lower environments (Dev, Test, and Staging).
- Participating in code reviews and team discussions, actively seeking feedback to continuously improve your craft.
- Communicating clearly within the frontend team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and dependencies are understood.

- TypeScript & React
- Node.js
- HTML5 and CSS3 (component layout and styling)
- Foundational understanding of JSON data structures
- Familiarity with testing concepts (exposure to Cypress is a plus)
- Basic browser and device debugging skills
- NPM usage and dependency awareness
- GIT usage for version control and collaborative code management
- JIRA usage for managing your day-to-day tickets and tasks
