About the Role

Viable Solutions is seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join our team and deliver high-quality digital experience solutions for enterprise clients. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AEM-based web applications and content management solutions, working closely with digital, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless and engaging customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows using AEM Sites, Assets, and Forms
  • Build and configure AEM solutions using HTL (Sightly), Java, OSGi, and Sling frameworks
  • Develop reusable AEM Core Components and custom components aligned to design specifications
  • Integrate AEM with third-party systems and APIs including CRM, DAM, and marketing platforms
  • Configure and maintain AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.x on-premise environments
  • Implement and maintain content authoring workflows, DAM configurations, and multi-site management (MSM)
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and designs into functional AEM templates
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security of AEM implementations
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for AEM deployments
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to junior team members
  • Document technical designs, component libraries, and operational runbooks

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8+ years of hands-on AEM development experience
  • Strong proficiency in AEM Sites — component development, page templates, and content authoring
  • Solid experience with HTL (Sightly), Java, OSGi bundles, and Sling
  • Experience with AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.4/6.5
  • Strong front-end skills — HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React or Angular
  • Experience with Maven build tools and Git version control
  • Knowledge of JCR (Java Content Repository) and content modelling
  • Experience with AEM DAM — asset management, metadata, and rendition configurations
  • Familiarity with Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies
  • Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party platforms
  • Understanding of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Adobe Campaign integrations — advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
