Your new role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications used by millions of customers.
- A core focus of this role is building and enhancing an admin platform for entitlements management, ensuring secure, scalable access control across critical systems.
- You will work across the full stack, developing robust backend services in Node.js and modern front-end applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- The role will involve deep engagement with Identity & Access Management (IAM), including authentication, authorisation, and user identity services. You will contribute to integrations with platforms such as Ping Authorize and Ping Identity (ForgeRock IDM).
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building entitlements and access control systems
- Developing scalable backend APIs using Node.js (Express or NestJS) and .NET Core
- Building high-quality frontends using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Implementing secure authentication and authorisation flows (OAuth, JWT, IAM frameworks)
- Working within microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, DevOps)
- Mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering best practices
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong full-stack engineering experience (backend + frontend)
- Proven experience with:
- Node.js (Express or NestJS)
- Next.js / React / TypeScript
- .NET / C# (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs)
- Experience building or working within entitlements or access control systems (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), including:
- Authentication & authorisation patterns
- OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT
- Experience with Ping Identity suite (Ping Authorize, Ping IDM / ForgeRock) is highly advantageous
- Experience designing and building microservices architectures
- Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience in Agile delivery environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in large, complex organisations
