Our client is expanding our engineering team and looking for a Sr Frontend Engineer to work on shared UI foundations that support multiple product teams. This role focuses on creating reusable frontend building blocks, internal tools, and scalable solutions that help teams move faster and stay consistent.

Current frontend stack relies heavily on Angular, with some work touching Flutter, and you’ll play a key role in strengthening and evolving this ecosystem. Beyond hands-on development, you’ll also have input into technical direction and future technology choices.

  • Working arrangement: Hybrid — 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
  • Location: Central Budapest, VIII. District, Hungary
  • Salary range: 1.3M ,- 1.6M HUF per month
  • Please note that all candidates must possess a valid work permit or legal authorization to work in Hungary at the time of application.
  • We are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship or assistance with obtaining work permits for this position.
  • Additionally, please be advised that relocation assistance to Budapest is not provided; candidates are responsible for their own relocation arrangements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design, build, and maintain shared frontend components, libraries, and tooling
  • Develop clean, scalable, and well-structured Angular applications
  • Participate in architectural and technical decision-making for frontend systems
  • Work closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth integrations and clear interfaces
  • Review code, share best practices, and support other engineers when needed
  • Take ownership of complex features and deliver them independently
  • Promote high standards around performance, accessibility, and reliability


What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with Angular
  • Strong Angular skills, or clear motivation and ability to ramp up quickly
  • Solid knowledge of TypeScript and frontend architecture patterns
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services
  • Good engineering habits around testing, CI/CD, and code quality
  • Confidence contributing to technical discussions and proposing solutions
