Senior Solutions Architect & Developer – Payment Systems & Customer Reporting - Hybrid, NYC

We are working a search for a Senior Solutions Architect & Developer to join a major global banking institution's Payment Systems and Customer Reporting team. This is a fully hands on senior developer role for someone who wants to own the full stack, from UI through APIs down to the data layer, while shaping how modern digital banking experiences get built.

What you will be doing:

• Designing and building enterprise grade Angular applications for corporate and institutional banking clients
• Developing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs, with backend services built primarily in C#/.NET
• Owning database design, SQL optimization, and data access patterns
• Contributing to microservices and API first architecture aligned with cloud and regulatory standards
• Supporting modernization work tied to real time payments and API led architecture
• Implementing secure coding practices including SSO, OAuth2, OIDC, and encryption
• Mentoring team members and driving design reviews across cross functional teams

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of technology experience with strong Angular and full stack .NET development background in banking or financial services
• Deep hands on experience with C#/.NET building backend services and APIs
• Experience architecting mission critical, high volume, regulated systems
• Familiarity with payment rails, clearing models, settlement mechanisms, and ISO 20022 messaging standards
• Strong hands on skills across Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs
• Azure cloud experience
• Solid grounding in security architecture, authentication, and data protection
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communicator who can influence senior stakeholders
