Senior Developer / interim Engineering Manager
Indexed description
When the interim period ends, you'll continue in the team as a Senior Developer. We're growing and we have an ongoing need for strong Engineering Managers across Lime, so if the leadership path is something you want to keep exploring, we'll have those conversations as openings come up.
The Web Client team owns the heart of Lime CRM's user experience - a mature, full-stack product shipped at a high release cadence.
What You'll Be Doing
As a developer:
- Stay deeply hands-on in the code - this is where the role lives.
- Help drive technical direction in the team.
- Set the bar for code quality, testing discipline, and release engineering practice.
- Lead by example on AI tooling (Claude) - we use these every day and we expect everyone to push what's possible.
- Run 1:1s and growth conversations - keeping the team engaged is your top priority.
- Be the person the team comes to for feedback, support, and unblocking.
- Partner with the Product Owner to shape work using Shape Up.
- Represent the team in our Engineering Management forum, where we drive continuous improvement and engineering best practices across Lime.
You should arrive with strong opinions about what good engineering hygiene looks like and the conviction to drive change toward it.

What we're looking for
Our stack is Python, TypeScript, and web components with Stencil.js. But if you're a Senior Engineer or Engineering Manager, we believe you'll pick those up. We care more about the kind of person you are:
- You have drive. You don't wait for things to be handed to you - you find the problems worth solving and go after them.
- You care. About the team, the product, and the craft. You show up with genuine interest and it shows in the way you work with others.
- You want to improve things. Not because you need to put your stamp on everything, but because you genuinely believe things can be better and you know how to make the case for it.
- You're curious. New tech, new problems, new ways of thinking - you lean in rather than shy away.
- You see the whole picture. You can zoom in on a pull request and zoom out to the system architecture without losing the thread. You make decisions that make sense at both levels.
- You've led before. Maybe formally as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead, maybe informally as the person on the team others gravitate to when something needs sorting. Either way, you've helped people grow and you know what helps a team ship versus what gets in the way.
- You like being with your team in person. Our team is in Lund and we think the best work happens when we're together. We're flexible, but we're looking for someone who lives close enough that showing up is the default.
The process
This is an ongoing process, i.e., we run the recruitment process until we find the right person. In the first step, we screen CVs and motivation letters. This is followed by interviews, a practical case, and a reference check. Our process always ends with a final interview with our CEO. We look forward to your application!
