Our Full Stack Developers are instrumental in shaping the best digital online experience for our customers, creating intuitive applications that empower them to effortlessly buy and manage their policies. Beyond customer-facing solutions, you'll also contribute to robust internal applications crucial for supporting our business operations.

You will thrive within dynamic, cross-functional Agile teams, working closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters. Our software is consistently delivered via modern DevOps/CI pipelines to AWS, offering the exciting opportunity to contribute across the entire stack.

Key Contributions You Could Make

• Architect & Develop: Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable solutions that directly achieve sprint goals and deliver tangible value.
• Lead Solution Design: Leverage your expertise to actively lead solution architecture and drive the development of our modern, evolving technology stack.
• Pioneer DevOps: Contribute significantly to the continuous enhancement of our CI/CD pipelines and optimising our AWS deployment infrastructure.
• Product Ownership & Innovation: Take proactive ownership of the product, consistently identifying and championing innovative ideas and improvements.
• Testing Excellence: Establish and maintain best-practice testing standards across unit, integration, and comprehensive end-to-end tests.
• Collaborative Agile Contributor: Work seamlessly within your cross-functional Agile team, actively participating in all phases from development and deployment to support activities.

We value a blend of enthusiasm, foundational knowledge, and deep expertise. While specific project requirements will vary, here’s a guide to the experience we’re keen to hear about:

Core Technical Skills

• At least 3+ years of hands-on Software Development or relevant industry experience. We also encourage less experienced developers with strong fundamentals to apply for junior opportunities.
• Knowledge of modern front-end architecture, including Angular 2+, JavaScript (ES 2015+), and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with other modern web frameworks such as NgRx, React, or Vue is a bonus.
• Solid working knowledge of Java, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Microservices frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) technologies.

• A background in financial services applications or the insurance sector.

This role is available at any of our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast locations providing flexibility to choose the office that suits you. Our Toowong office is close to the city with easy public transport and parking options while our North Lakes offices are within walking distance of some of the north side’s best retail locations. If you love a view of the water, why not consider our Kawana office on the edge of Lake Kawana and only a five minute drive to the closest beach.
