Job Summary

The Senior Web Application Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable cloud-based web applications that support Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) workflows. This role requires expertise across the full software development lifecycle, cloud architecture (AWS preferred), API integration, modern web technologies, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate has strong medical device industry experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and can independently drive solutions from concept through production.

Top Responsibilities / Requirements

• 8–12+ years of software development experience with expertise in cloud-based web application development.
• Must have medical device industry experience and understand regulated software development environments.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable cloud applications using AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, MQTT services, and third-party platforms to support enterprise and IoMT applications.
• Build high-quality applications using React/Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, or Python.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud security, monitoring, and automation best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, business analysts, QA, firmware, and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize application performance, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Be a proactive, self-driven engineer who thrives in ambiguity, influences stakeholders, and helps build scalable solutions in a fast-growing environment.
