The Expertise We’re Looking For
- 6–8 years of full stack development experience with a strong focus on Java and backend engineering
- Proficiency with Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development
- Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat or similar application servers
- Solid understanding of object‑oriented design, secure coding, and best engineering practices
- Experience with Angular 17+, along with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RxJS
- Exposure to front‑end testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma) is a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy or equivalent)
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced environment

- Building solutions that meet functional and non‑functional requirements, including performance, scalability, and security
- Participating in design reviews, code reviews, and quality initiatives
- Contributing to CI/CD improvements, cloud readiness, and engineering best practices
- Engaging in automated testing and ensuring high‑quality, maintainable code
- Collaborating with global teams to drive modern engineering standards
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
