Frontend Developer (React)

Our Company is seeking to recruit a skilled and motivated Frontend Developer with strong React experience to join our Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our existing legacy React codebase as well as developing new, modern React applications. This position requires a deep understanding of both class-based and functional React components, as well as a solid foundation in core web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, refactor, and improve legacy React applications (class-based components, older patterns)

• Design and develop new React applications using modern best practices (hooks, functional components, state management)

• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize frontend code for performance and scalability

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Required Skills/Experience & Personal attributes:

• Strong proficiency in React (both class-based and functional components)

• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), including vanilla JS and DOM manipulation

• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques

• Familiarity with legacy frontend technologies such as jQuery

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.)

• Knowledge of frontend build tools and workflows (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn)

• Ability to work with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data flows

• Experience with browser debugging tools and performance optimization

• Understanding of accessibility and web standards

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)

• Familiarity with animation libraries (GSAP, Framer Motion, CSS animations)

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Enzyme)

• Experience with version control systems (Git)

• Familiarity with TypeScript

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
