#YourRole

As a Senior Consultant in our Tax Technology Consulting team, you will work as the Senior Frontend Engineer and UI/UX Lead for our AI platform used across professional services.

The frontend is a Single Page Application built with Angular/TypeScript — featuring a real-time chat interface, admin dashboards, document management, multi-language support, and mobile capabilities.

You will lead the Frontend squad, establishing the design system, code quality standards, and UI/UX direction for the entire application. You will mentor and review the work of existing frontend developers, ensuring consistency, polish, and usability.

#KeyResponsibilities

• Lead the Frontend squad — establish and maintain a cohesive design system, component library, theming, and visual language;
• Own the UI/UX quality — user journey design, wireframing, usability testing, and visual consistency;
• Conduct structured code reviews for all frontend pull requests, mentoring team members and enforcing quality standards;
• Architect and maintain scalable frontend state management for complex real-time features (SSE streaming, WebSocket);
• Build and evolve the real-time chat interface — streaming responses, interactive elements, and rich content rendering;
• Own admin dashboards — user management, analytics, and configuration;
• Ensure multi-language support (i18n) is consistent, complete, and maintainable;
• Improve accessibility (WCAG compliance) and performance (Core Web Vitals);
• Guide the mobile application evolution;
• Collaborate with backend and AI teams to design clean API contracts and data flows.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field;
• 3–6 years of professional frontend development experience with Angular and TypeScript (React experience is transferable);
• Demonstrable UI/UX design sensibility — experience creating or maintaining design systems and component libraries;
• Strong understanding of user experience principles — user journeys, wireframing, and usability testing;
• Experience with real-time UI patterns — Server-Sent Events (SSE), WebSocket streaming;
• Knowledge of state management at scale — NgRx, RxJS, or similar reactive programming patterns;
• Experience with code review and mentoring;
• Proficiency with modern CSS (SCSS, CSS Grid, Flexbox), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

#PreferredSkills

• Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools for wireframing and prototyping;
• Experience with mobile development (Android/iOS hybrid, PWA, or responsive-first approaches);
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+);
• Experience with internationalization (i18n) frameworks and multi-language applications;
• Familiarity with conversational/chat UI patterns — streaming text, markdown rendering, rich embeds;
• Experience with performance optimization — lazy loading, code splitting, bundle size management;
• Understanding of AI/ML product interfaces;
• Experience working in design-aware engineering teams / product-led organizations.
