Immersum is supporting an established, fast-growing FinTech organisation whose software has transformed operational efficiencies within the capital markets space. The Role
Reporting directly into the engineering team, you will join as a Mid level Angular developer and take responsibility for working across the full stack. This is a unique, multi-disciplinary role where you will be peer-mentored and expected to spin up fast, making a real impact from day one. Working closely with a collaborative, multi-cultural team, you will comfortably navigate the backend, frontend, testing, and infrastructure. This role would suit a product-minded engineer who takes true ownership of their work, cares deeply about outcomes (not just output), and possesses a genuine curiosity for figuring things out.
Responsibilities
- Work as a multi-discipline, full-stack engineer mostly across the frontend but also getting your hands dirty with backend, testing, and infrastructure platforms
- Take full ownership of product features, focusing on high-quality outcomes and real user impact
- Fully leverage AI tooling and modern software methodologies to move quickly and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to build and scale the core enterprise platform
- Maintain high attention to detail while contributing directly to a platform handling high-volume financial transactions
- Embrace continuous learning, adapting quickly to new technical challenges through supportive peer-mentorship
Experience
- Professional prior experience working with Angular (17+) in a production environment
- Strong grounding as a product-minded engineer who takes ownership of software outcomes
- Solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate clearly and directly with teammates
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Proven ability to spin up fast and a strong track record of learning new technologies
- Enthusiasm, ambition, and humility in equal measure
Desirable
- Experience with other elements of our technology stack, which includes: Python, Django, TypeScript, Playwright, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Active personal or open-source projects that showcase your passion for coding and learning
- Exposure to or awareness of B2B SaaS, financial services, or banking environments
