Highly dynamic legal and professional services organization seeks an experienced Web Developer to join its innovative Information Services team, contributing to the design and development of enterprise-level web applications that support legal operations and firm client services. This role involves collaborating across departments to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET MVC web applications and modules, ensuring scalable and secure code aligned with industry standards
- Implement new features and enhancements to existing applications within a dynamic legal technology environment
- Participate in code reviews, sharing best practices and fostering continuous improvement in coding standards
- Collaborate with users and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and improve system performance
- Coordinate with external vendors, including software providers, system integrators, and consulting partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery
- Provide regular project status updates and immediate notification of potential risks impacting development timelines
Core Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development and web application programming
- Proficient in C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Node.js, Angular or equivalent modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, XML, T-SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience supplemented by relevant coursework
- Strong understanding of software design principles, testing, and version control practices
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior experience working within the legal or financial services industries
- Familiarity with legal document management systems and APIs, such as iManage Cloud API
- Experience integrating with CRM systems like Salesforce, and enterprise tools such as PowerShell, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Aderant, Workday, SSRS
- Knowledge of Active Directory scripting and data import/export automation

- Web development tools, API integration, cloud services, enterprise content management, scripting languages
