FRONT END ENGINEER SENIOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Front End Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the MPO customer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.
Role Responsibilities
- Support multiple tools to include a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished products and a system for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world.
- Collaborate with top tier teams
- Drive 508 accessibility of the current interfaces as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
- US citizenship required
- Required Technical skills:
- Java 8+
- Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
- GWT
- Angular
- Primefaces
- Quarkus
- Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Additional desired technical skills may include experience with:
- Proficiency with screen readers
- 508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
- Oracle
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Agency reporting and dissemination tools
- Agency classification policies
- Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

The likely salary range for this position is $121,975 - $165,025. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
