About the Role

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you'll design, develop, and enhance cloud-native applications across both backend and frontend technologies. You'll work closely with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and fellow developers to deliver scalable, high-quality software running on Microsoft Azure.


Work Setup

  • Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
  • Office Location: BGC, Taguig
  • Mid Shift (EMEA support)


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build responsive frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript
  • Develop and enhance REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations
  • Build automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Playwright
  • Deploy and support applications in Microsoft Azure
  • Work with containerized environments using Docker and AKS
  • Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, planning, estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Strong Angular and TypeScript development experience
  • Experience designing distributed systems and microservices
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps)
  • Experience using Docker and Git
  • Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks
  • Comfortable working independently and taking technical ownership
  • Willing to work hybrid in BGC and on a mid-shift schedule


Good-to-Have

  • Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
  • Experience with Docker Swarm
  • Experience with MongoDB, MS SQL, or MySQL
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
