To strengthen our Product & Engineering team, we are looking for a UX Designer / UX Developer (60% workload) who will own the end-to-end experience of our digital platform from user research and interaction design through to building polished, accessible interfaces in our front-end. Tasks
- Design end-to-end user experiences for our digital platform from user research and information architecture to wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
- Translate complex energy, simulation, and financial data into clear, intuitive interfaces and data visualizations
- Build and maintain a shared design system (components, patterns, design tokens) and implement it directly in the product front-end
- Implement designs in code (Angular, HTML, SCSS, TypeScript), ensuring pixel-accurate, responsive, and accessible interfaces in close collaboration with the engineering team
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions, translating insights into actionable design improvements
- Define and uphold UX standards, accessibility (WCAG), and visual consistency across all web and platform products
- Create prototypes, design documentation, and UI assets for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and country organizations to turn requirements into usable, elegant solutions
- Completed degree or equivalent training in Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Media/Communication Design, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or UX/Front-End Developer, ideally on data-rich web applications
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work and shipped products
- High proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, including building and maintaining design systems and component libraries
- Solid front-end skills: HTML, CSS/SCSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and hands-on experience with a modern framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
- Experience designing dashboards, data visualizations, and complex workflow interfaces
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and cross-device consistency
- A user-centered, process-oriented mindset with the ability to balance design craft and technical implementation
- Strong communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across design, engineering, and business teams
- Ideally, interest in or experience within the energy, sustainability, or real estate domain
