We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Lead with strong Angular expertise and Node.js understanding who can take ownership of frontend architecture, scalability, engineering standards, and UI performance across our SaaS platform.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about building large-scale enterprise applications, workflow-based systems, and data-heavy user interfaces with modern frontend architecture practices.

Role Overview

As a Frontend Lead, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable Angular applications, optimizing frontend architecture, and collaborating closely with backend teams to deliver reliable and high-performance product features.

You will guide frontend engineering practices, mentor developers, participate in architecture decisions, and ensure the platform remains maintainable, scalable, and performant as the product grows.

You should be comfortable working on complex workflow-driven interfaces, enterprise-grade UI systems, API lifecycle integrations, and high-volume real-time data applications.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Architecture & Development

• Design and develop scalable Angular applications using modern architecture practices.
• Build modular, reusable, and maintainable UI components.
• Develop enterprise-grade SPA applications with clean component-based architecture.
• Create responsive, cross-browser compatible, and highly performant user interfaces.
• Optimize frontend performance for large datasets, complex workflows, and dynamic rendering systems.
• Improve application scalability, maintainability, and frontend code organization.
• Implement advanced UI interactions, workflow builders, and configurable data-driven interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive and modern product experiences.

API & Backend Integration

• Integrate frontend systems with Node.js REST APIs and real-time backend services.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define scalable and efficient API contracts.
• Manage API lifecycle integration including:
• API consumption
• Versioning strategies
• Error handling
• Retry mechanisms
• Caching and optimization
• API monitoring
• API deprecation handling
• Handle asynchronous data flows and complex state management effectively.
• Ensure secure, optimized, and scalable frontend-backend communication.
• Work with authentication systems, access control, and secure API integrations.
  

State Management & Application Scalability

• Design scalable frontend state management architecture.
• Optimize rendering performance for data-heavy applications.
• Manage large-scale application data flows and frontend caching strategies.
• Ensure smooth handling of real-time updates and asynchronous workflows.
• Improve frontend application reliability and maintainability for enterprise-scale usage.

Code Quality & Engineering Standards

• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain frontend engineering standards.
• Enforce best practices for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Improve frontend architecture patterns and technical documentation.
• Maintain consistent coding standards across the engineering team.
• Implement debugging, logging, and frontend monitoring practices.

Technical Leadership

• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level frontend developers.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Help resolve complex UI, state management, and integration challenges.
• Contribute to long-term frontend strategy and engineering improvements.
• Drive technical ownership and accountability within the frontend team.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Designers, and Backend Engineers.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Angular (v14 or above).
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong understanding of component-based frontend architecture.
• Experience building large-scale SPA applications.
• Experience with Node.js and REST API integration.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and RxJS.
• Experience with frontend state management approaches.
• Experience optimizing application performance and rendering efficiency.
• Strong understanding of scalable frontend application design.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building workflow builders, visual editors, or drag-and-drop interfaces.
• Experience with data-heavy enterprise applications or SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of API lifecycle management and API-first architecture.
• Experience with API versioning, caching, monitoring, and authentication systems.
• Experience integrating with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Experience with real-time systems and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with charting libraries, data visualization frameworks, or workflow UI libraries.
• Experience with performance optimization for enterprise-scale frontend applications.
