Backend Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our growing Tools and Infrastructure team. In this role, you will develop and maintain backend systems, hardware management platforms, and developer tools that support our hardware development lifecycle—from design and emulation to bring-up and production.

The ideal candidate is technically independent and comfortable working at the intersection of hardware and concurrent software.

What You’ll Do

· System & Tool Development: Develop and maintain backend systems, management platforms, and various internal development tools (such as task-specific compilers)

· Hardware Integration: Design and implement APIs and data processing workflows that connect software and hardware systems, including direct interaction with low-level components and hardware interfaces

· Concurrency & Performance: Build and optimize multithreaded and multiprocessed management platforms to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability

· Collaboration: Partner with software and hardware teams to support product development through stable internal tooling and infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

· Experience: 3+ years of backend software development experience.

· Concurrency & Networking: Great understanding of multithreading and multiprocessing concepts, alongside a good understanding of and hands-on experience with computer networking and socket programming.

· Environment: Comfortable tackling low-level development tasks and working in a Linux-based, hardware-oriented environment.

· Advanced Root-Cause Analysis: Excellent analytical skills with a knack for debugging complex, asynchronous systems and low-level software/hardware interfaces.

· B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Advantages
