Mobile App Developer

Role Description

We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that deliver seamless, secure, and engaging user experiences across mobile platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to build innovative mobile solutions that support business objectives and customer needs.

As a Mobile App Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining native or cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. You will participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and application architecture to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Key responsibilities include designing intuitive user interfaces, implementing application features, integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, optimizing application performance, and ensuring application stability across various devices and operating system versions. You will troubleshoot technical issues, resolve application defects, perform code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvements in application quality and maintainability.

You will work closely with backend developers to ensure efficient data exchange and seamless system integration while collaborating with QA teams to support functional, regression, and performance testing. The role also involves participating in Agile development processes, preparing technical documentation, monitoring application performance, and supporting application releases through mobile app distribution platforms.

In addition, you will stay informed about emerging mobile technologies, platform updates, development frameworks, and industry best practices to continuously improve application performance, security, scalability, and user experience.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, software architecture, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in native mobile development using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, or cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing responsive and user-friendly mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, web services, and mobile application integration.
• Familiarity with mobile UI/UX design principles, accessibility standards, and platform-specific design guidelines.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of local storage, offline synchronization, push notifications, authentication, and application security best practices.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, mobile performance optimization, and memory management techniques.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile application deployment processes.
• Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
• Professional certifications related to mobile development, cloud platforms, or software engineering are considered an advantage.
