Joining TXT’s Ground Station Team means working on critical software solutions in a structured, highly specialized technical environment.

For its Aerospace & HighTech Business Unit, TXT is looking for a person to join the Ground Station Team, with the goal of growing professionally and developing advanced technical skills.

1–2 years of experience in software development is required, along with an interest in working in a complex engineering environment.

The role is on-site at the Client’s office in Rome.

Main activities

  • Software development in the aeronautical field within desktop client-server and/or cross-platform mobile environments
  • Analysis of technical documentation, system requirements, and aeronautical manuals

Required skills

  • Programming languages: C, C++, and/or C#, SQL
  • Framework: Qt
  • Development environments: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
  • Version control systems: Git, SVN

Nice-to-have skills

  • Installation and configuration of Windows, Linux, and network systems
  • Project management platforms: Azure, Redmine
  • Knowledge of OpenGL
  • Experience in embedded software development

The salary range for this position is EUR 29,000 to EUR 33,000 gross per year.

The final job level and compensation package will be defined during the selection process, based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the Italian Metalworking Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
