Our challenge

We are seeking highly skilled Java Developer with Oracle Flexcube experience to join our team.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain banking applications using Java and Flexcube platform modules.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and integrations within the Flexcube banking system.
• Participate in system analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Flexcube modules and Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support ongoing system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
• Maintain full documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Work closely with infrastructure and support teams to ensure stability, security, and performance of the banking system.

Requirements:

You are:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java SE/EE.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Flexcube core banking platform modules and architecture.
• Experience with Flexcube customization, APIs, and integrations.
• Strong SQL skills, including PL/SQL, and experience with relational databases such as Oracle.
• Familiarity with banking and financial services domain processes.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including SDLC, version control, and testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
