Mobile API engineer (SERVER-SIDE)

Pay Range: $50 - $75/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
• Build and enhance the Mobile Service Layer (BFF) consumed by mobile applications.
• Develop REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Refactor legacy applications and modernize existing services.
• Debug and resolve production issues.
• Participate in CI/CD, automated testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, mobile developers, QA, and designers

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: - Kotlin, Java, REST APIs, GraphQL, Backend for Frontend (BFF)
• Strong backend development experience.
• Kotlin (Must Have)
• Java
• REST API development
• GraphQL
• CI/CD and automated testing
• Unit testing and debugging
• Experience working with microservices and distributed systems
