Senior iOS Engineer
Indexed description
We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer ready to step into a technical leadership role — someone who combines deep platform expertise with the communication skills and vision to guide a growing mobile team. This is a role where you will shape how our iOS and cross-platform mobile engineering operates, while staying hands-on with the code.
We are FORM.com, a US-based company with engineering teams in Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine. Our platform combines task management with cutting-edge image recognition to help the world’s largest brands understand what’s happening on retail shelves in real time. Our mobile apps are at the heart of this — used daily by thousands of field teams across the globe.
Your role will be:
- Developing and maintaining core features of the Trax iOS application used by retail field teams worldwide.
- Acting as the technical counterpart to the Mobile Engineering Manager — driving architecture decisions, code quality standards, and technical direction for the iOS team.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and technical guidance.
- Collaborating closely with Android, QA, backend, and ML/IR teams across the US, Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine.
- Contributing to cross-team technical discussions, sprint planning, and roadmap prioritization.
- Identifying and driving improvements in build pipelines, testing strategies, and development workflows.
- Experimenting with emerging iOS technologies, including on-device ML, and camera/AR integrations.
Great if you have (recommended):
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.
- Strong understanding of modern iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, multi-module projects).
- Track record of mentoring other engineers or leading technical initiatives.
- Experience working in international, distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills — able to articulate technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Eagerness to take ownership beyond your own code — team processes, architecture decisions, and delivery outcomes.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane).
- Familiarity with on-device ML frameworks (Core ML, TensorFlow Lite).
- Experience with ARKit or camera-based capture workflows.
- Background in retail tech, field service, or enterprise mobile applications.
- Experience profiling and optimizing app performance, battery usage, and network efficiency.
- Familiarity with cross-platform considerations (coordinating with Android/Kotlin teams on shared features).
What We Offer:
- Full remote or hybrid work from our cozy office in Krakow.
- The option to enroll in a medical package on preferential terms.
- Subsidized English language courses.
- Company-provided work equipment.
- Opportunities for internal growth and career development.
- Access to internal learning resources.
Compensation: 20,000 - 28,000 PLN per month.
Exact compensation may vary depending on skills, experience, and location within Poland.
